Segio Tudela – Sax Clinic artist

Born in Linares (Jaén), Spain, began his musical training at the “Andrés Segovia” Professional Conservatory with top honors. He continued his studies at the “Rafael Orozco” Higher Conservatory in Córdoba and later at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) in Manchester, UK, studying with renowned clarinetists Antonio Salguero and Nicholas Cox.

He received masterclasses from internationally acclaimed musicians such as Reiner Wehle, John Bradbury, Walter Boeykens, and Pascal Moragués, and refined his technique on bass and E-flat clarinet with members of the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra.

He was a finalist in the 2011 RNCM Concerto Competition and performed clarinet concertos by Weber and Mozart in the UK. His performances have been conducted by esteemed figures including Hansjörg Schellenberger, Gergely Madaras, Clark Rundell, and Tim Reynish. After a personal hiatus, he resumed his studies with Professor Carlos Vázquez in Jaén and will continue advanced training in Austria with Professor Francesco Negrini at the Stella Vorarlberg Privathochschule für Musik.

In 2025, Sergio Tudela became an artist of the Sax Clinic’s SCV ligatures. He uses M-TOUCH ligature.
